An eligible group or cooperative may apply for finance for an agreed activity. Before applying, establish who borrows, who is responsible for repayment and what each member or guarantor is committing to. The institution will assess the activity, governance, income and required security. A collective application is not automatic approval. Every person taking on responsibility should understand the terms, including what happens if another participant does not pay.
