A woman recording a savings plan at home

UBUMWE SACCO GAKENKE

Make saving a habit.

Plan what to set aside around your income and everyday needs.

Services PREPARATION

Work through the steps

  1. Separate your goals

Write down what you are saving for and when you will need the money. School costs, equipment and unexpected expenses can each have a different plan.

  2. Match your income rhythm

Are you paid monthly or after selling a harvest? List essential spending and existing repayments first. Choose an amount you can set aside and review it when your income changes.

  3. Review your progress

Compare your plan with what you actually saved. If there is a gap, review the reason and adjust the amount or the timeline. Use the savings-goal planner to work through your own figures.
