Work through the steps
Know the customer and product
Describe what you sell, who needs it and where you will sell it. Ask customers what matters to them and compare supplier prices. A small trial can help you learn before expanding.
List the full costs
Include stock, transport, rent, packaging and other operating costs. Separate business costs from money taken for the household. The money you receive from sales is not all profit.
Close the day with a review
Match the money with your sales records. Check remaining stock, customer debts and amounts owed to suppliers. Plan the next purchase using stock levels and customer demand.
